Belgian creator, Aurore Havenne spent her childhood in the countryside imagining other worlds and looking at the stars while dreaming of journeys and unknown cities. While waiting for "life-size" journeys, she developed her drawing practice at the Beaux-Arts in Namur.
Soon, travel and extended stays abroad became part of her daily life: Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, cities in Northern and Southern Europe, Aurore does not miss any part of the globe. The discoveries never end, neither does the opening to the world.
When she arrived in Brussels, she was introduced to jewellery at the Arts et Métiers. This discipline, which escapes the unbridled race of fashion, meets her need for timelessness, for an object that accompanies the wearer, for an ornament to which everyone can lend their own symbolism. Inspired by the city, its volumes, its buildings, its noises, its flows, its art, its energy, she creates jewels with pure, minimal, falsely obvious lines. The concepts of cycle and emptiness represent an important part of her work, leading her to create pieces that exist as much by their lines as by their absence.
Its collections are made of silver, vermeil or gold.
